XXIX Convegno Nazionale sui Geosintetici, Bologna, 18 Ottobre 2018
Diffondiamo con piacere anche in ambito GNIG la notizia del prossimo Convegno Nazionale sui Geosintetici giunto quest’anno alla sua XXIX edizione. Il convegno, organizzato dalla Sezione Italiana dell’International Geosynthetics Society (AGI-IGS) congiuntamente a BolognaFiere-SAIE 2018, si terrà a Bologna il 18 ottobre 2018 nel tradizionale ambito SAIE e sarà dedicato al tema “Raccomandazioni AGI per l’impiego dei geosintetici nel rinforzo del terreno in opere di sostegno e pendii ripidi”.
Per l’evento è stata avviata la procedura per il riconoscimento dei CFP presso il Consiglio Nazionale degli Ingegneri.

7ICEGE- abstracts submission extended deadline
The deadline for submission of abstracts to 7ICEGE is extended to 8 June 2018.
Do not miss the opportunity to participate in the 7th International Conference on Earthquake Geotechcnical Engineering, and visit the Eternal City of Roma, whose centre is one of the biggest UNESCO World Heritage Site. The conference topics will address through general and parallel sessions the most recent developments in earthquake geotechnical engineering, stimulating fruitful technical and scientific interaction within the fields of seismology, geophysics, geology, structural as well as infrastructural engineering.

The Alliance of Laboratories in Europe for Education, Research and Technology (ALERT) “Geomaterials” was created in 1989 in an effort to develop a European School of Thinking in the field of the Mechanics of Geomaterials. The main activity of ALERT is the annual workshop held each October in the beautiful French location of Aussois.
This year for the first time there will be a session dedicated to Offshore Geotechnics. The session provides an opportunity for people working in the field to get together in a workshop setting to discuss trending topics in the field. Topics could include, but are not limited to, challenges around the development of offshore renewable resources from wind, waves and tides, extending the life of offshore oil and gas platforms and the impact of geohazards. Both fundamental and applied contributions are welcome to identify and discuss state-of-the-art approaches covering theoretical, experimental and numerical analysis. Particularly appreciated will be research concerning soil behaviour and soil-structure interaction under cyclic/dynamic loading, as well as novel methods to predict the installation performance of offshore foundation systems.
You are warmly invited to submit abstracts for possible presentations. Abstracts should be up to 2 pages (between 500 and 1000 words) and include figures as appropriate. Based on the abstracts received, up to 13 contributions will be selected for oral presentation (please note full paper submission is not required). Each presentation will last 20 minutes with 5 minutes for discussion.
Submissions should be addressed to F.Pisano@tudelft.nl no later than 30 April 2018.
5-8 Giugno: DFI Inter. Conference Roma
Nei giorni 5-8 Giugno 2018 si svolgerà a Roma, presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria della Sapienza, un Convegno Internazionale promosso dal DFI- Deep Foundation Institute e dalla EFFC, Confederazione Europea delle Imprese Specializzate, dedicato alle opportunità per l’industria Geotecnica e delle Costruzioni derivanti dai grandi programmi di sviluppo in atto in varie parti del mondo.
La conferenza vede la partecipazione contemporanea di Istituzioni Pubbliche che esporranno alcuni dei più importanti progetti da realizzare in Europa nei prossimi anni, di Accademici e Progettisti, delle Imprese specializzate nonché delle Imprese che producono macchinari innovativi e materiali di costruzione e per il trattamento dei terreni. Nel programma è stata inserita una sessione plenaria dedicata agli studenti e neolaureati nel corso della quale verranno presentate esperienze lavorative e di primo inserimento nel settore. La partecipazione degli studenti e neolaureati alla conferenza potrà essere diretta qui a Roma, oppure in remoto attraverso una piattaforma web appositamente realizzata.
Per la partecipazione diretta, gli studenti potranno registrarsi sul sito: https://www.regonline.com/builder/site/default.aspx?EventID=2088920 pagando una quota simbolica di 25 Euro (fino al 30 aprile e 75 Euro successivamente) che comprende la partecipazione ai tre giorni di Conferenza, i pasti ed una copia degli Atti in formato digitale. La partecipazione in remoto invece è gratuita e non prevede pagamento di alcuna quota.
Gli studenti laureandi e neolaureati che si iscriveranno, avranno inoltre la possibilità di accedere a stage lavorativi offerti dalle Imprese specializzate partecipanti che selezioneranno per queste attività quelli che riterranno maggiormente adatti alle loro esigenze.
La partecipazione alla Conferenza potrà così essere una ottima opportunità per gli studenti ed i giovani per interfacciarsi al nostro mondo lavorativo e avere contatti diretti con più di 30 imprese del settore che saranno presenti con stands nel Chiostro della Facoltà di Ingegneria. Gli studenti e i neolaureati maggiormente interessati potranno essere quelli dei Corsi di Laurea in Ingegneria Civile e Geotecnica , Meccanica ed Informatica.
