7ICEGE-Roma: scadenza abstract
Vi ricordiamo che il 7 maggio scade il termine per la presentazione degli abstracts alla VII International Conference on Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering – VII ICEGE (www.7ICEGE.com) che si terrà a Roma dal 17 al 20 giugno 2019. Si rinnova vivamente l’invito a tutti i ricercatori – in particolare i giovani – operanti nel campo della geotecnica sismica a sottoporre contributi a questo convegno, che viene ospitato per la prima volta in Italia. È un’occasione unica per dare la giusta visibilità ai progressi ottenuti in questo ambito dalla nostra comunità scientifica, anche a seguito dei diversi eventi sismici recenti e dell’evoluzione normativa.

The University of Strathclyde and the University of Bristol are organising the 7th International Symposium on Deformation Characteristics of Geomaterials, to be held in Glasgow on 26th – 28th June 2019. This prestigious conference series started in 1994 and is organised under the auspices of our Technical Committee TC101. We are pleased to announce that the Call for Abstracts has been published and is available at the symposium website:

We also attach the Abstract Submission Form. Abstracts can be sent by email as per instructions on the Form. The Symposium covers a broad range of topics (see below) and we count on your contribution and support.
10-13 Set: Annual Meeting EWG-IE Milano
Si segnala che dal 10 al 13 settembre si terrà al Politecnico di Milano il 26° Annual Meeting del gruppo EWG-IE (European Working Group on Internal Erosion), a cui sono invitati tutti i ricercatori e professionisti interessati a discutere idee nuove o conoscenze consolidate, con approccio sperimentale o modellistico, sui meccanismi di erosione interna a opere in terra.

Le scadenze importanti sono il 30 marzo, per l’invio dell’abstract, e il 14 maggio per l’articolo da mandare in revisione. Gli atti, stampati da Springer, saranno indicizzati Scopus.

La VII lnternational Conference on Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering (VII ICEGE) si terra’ a Roma dal 17-20 giugno 2019.
La conferenza è un evento promossa dal TC203 ‘Earthquake Geotechnical Engineering and associated problems’ dell’ISSMGE ed è organizzata dall’ AGI – Associazione Geotecnica Italiana.
Il termine per l’invio dei sommari è fissato al 7 maggio 2018.

8-10 Gen 2019: MPM 2019 Cambridge
Si segnala che dall’8 al 10 gennaio 2019 si terra’ a Cambridge la 2nd International Conference on the “Material Point Method for Modelling Soil–Water–Structure Interaction” e segue a distanza di 3 anni la prima Conferenza tenutasi nel gennaio 2016 a Delft.
La Conferenza è organizzata dalla MPM Reseach Community Anura3D (www.Anura3D.com) della quale fanno parte, per l’Italia, l’Università di Padova e l’Università di Salerno. Nel comitato organizzatore presso l’Universita’ di Cambrige sono presenti le colleghe Giulia Viggiani e Giovanna Biscontin. La conferenza vuole presentarsi come un forum di discussione internazionale sugli ultimi sviluppi della modellazione computazionale a grandi deformazioni dell’interazione terreno-fluido-struttura. Fourth International Symposium on Computational Geomechanics (2-4 May, 2018)
Dear Colleague:
We are pleased to formally announce that the fourth International Symposium on Computational Geomechanics (ComGeo IV) will be held in Assisi (Italy), May 2-4th, 2018.
The format of this Symposium, which is a sequel to NUMOG (Numerical Models in Geomechanics) series, will be similar to that of previous ComGeo meetings, with the focus on preserving a high technical standard as well as an informal style. The scope will cover the traditional areas of geomechanics, including both computational and experimental aspects, as well as application to practical problems. In addition, contributions in the areas of petroleum engineering, geophysics and geo-environmental engineering are also welcomed.

Urbanization and Infrastructure Development: Future Challenges
ROME, ITALY ~ JUNE 6-8, 2018
Deep Foundations Institute (DFI) and the European Federation of Foundation Contractors (EFFC) are organizing our next International Conference on 6-8 June 2018 in Rome, Italy. The conference is being presented to discuss the future challenges our industry faces in relation to urbanization and infrastructure development.
Through the conference presentations and discussions, we aim to explore the worldwide industry’s challenges presented by owners and owners’ representatives (consultants and construction managers) who are associated with building the infrastructure systems that meet modern demands.
The enclosed Conference Introduction and Call for Abstracts documents further explain the full scope of the planned conference content and the forum we are looking to provide for all members of our geotechnical construction community.
